Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She's the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie is the first female to take home at the CrossFit Games twice. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter, is also an Icelandic CrossFit athlete and celebrity media personality. She is popular for being the first woman who won in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Her other achievements include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was born and raised to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. In her early years, she was always a lover of exercise and sports. She was a participant in numerous school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. In 2009, she competed in CrossFit competitions in California. Her initial performances were quite impressive. Annie Thorisdottir was aged 31 (by the year 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs around 67 kilograms. Annie began her CrossFit experience in 2009 in California. Annie did very well in her first competitions and finished within the top 10 in the rankings. Although she didn't win any title she ended her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed second and took home the silver medal same year. The following year, she participated again with Jami Tikkanen in CrossFit Games and won them due to her impressive performance. It was her first time as a woman ever to be the winner of CrossFit Games. Annie has outstanding 2012. CrossFit Games performance, became the very first woman to win the two CrossFit Games. Silver medals were awarded in 2014; and in the year 2021 she received the Bronze award at CrossFit Games. Annie coaches and train with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. In the last few years, as an athlete, Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae among many other brands. Additionally, she has a self-titled Youtube channel that has a couple of thousand subscribers where her training diet family videos and travel vlogs are uploaded.
