Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it in addition. Annie was the first female ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter and media celebrity. Her fame stems from her being the first woman to win the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Other accomplishments include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2013 and 2013. Annie and her parents and siblings were all born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland. When she was a kid she was a huge lover of exercise and sports. She was a participant in numerous school events and earned several medals. In 2009, she competed in CrossFit competitions held in California. Her first results were impressive. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 years older (as at 2021). She stands 5'7 tall, and weighs about 67 pounds. Annie began her CrossFit journey in California in 2009. She was able to perform very well in the initial competitions. She finished amongst top 10 of over 70. She was not able to earn any titles, but ended up in 11th place on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Annie placed 2nd at CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's guidance. Following that, she again participated in the CrossFit competitions and due to her impressive performance, she took home the competition and became the first woman to take home a trophy at CrossFit Games. Annie, who had an outstanding 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the very first woman to have won the two CrossFit Games. In 2014, Annie received a Silver medal and most recently, in 2021, she took home a Bronze Medal in the CrossFit Games. Annie coaches and train in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie has gained notoriety for her athletic talents, has appeared in advertisements of sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's sidekick Yerbae Renewal Periodization Transparent Labs as well as others. Aside from that, she owns a self-titled Youtube channel that has a couple of thousand viewers where her diet family videos and travel vlogs are uploaded.
