David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is an American anchor, journalist and anchor and reporter. The most famous of his work is for his show World News Tonight. With its animated gestures and dramatic videos of celebrity news, the show is now America's top-rated newscast. Made In America has also been nominated for an Emmy award. His predecessor Diane Sawyer was the anchor of ABC World News Tonight before becoming the anchor. He was the anchor for numerous evening specials on primetime ABC News some recent ones including Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint: Refugees in America. He's been to a variety of locations around the globe reporting the current news. The locations include Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti, and the Gulf of Mexico. The awards he has received include numerous Edward R. Murrow Awards and distinctions from The Associated Press.
