Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress, best famous for her portrayal of the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama, and the medicine drama The Resident. She also received acclaim for her bold television debut role of Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap series Guiding Light. The most memorable film roles she has played include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a feature film by Vlas Parlapanides (the duo who came up with The Immortals) is believed to be in development. She also films for a new television show called Gods & Heroes.
